Do Dogs Make Better Pets Than Cats?

by Elyn Boniel Manag

The most common reason people buy pets is to have a companion in their homes.Pets typically bring happiness into a person's life ang develop a special link with their owners.According to research, more individuals owned cats than dogs.Cats can take care of themselves than dogs and can eradicate rat infestation from the owner's home, while dogs demonstrated their loyalty to their owners and are more easily trainable. Both pets have their advantages and disadvantages, but dogs make better pets than cats because they exhibit more positive traits.

Dogs help cops in solving criminal investigation. The German Shepherd is one of the most frequently used dog breeds by police because they are good at sniffing out bombs and drugs as well as being good at tracking and search and rescue operation.Dogs are really helpful for everyone especially helpful to the police and military as they aid in solving cases.Due to their keen sense of smell, dogs are often used by police to search for missing bodies or additional evidence in cases. The fact that now we know that dogs had more ability and are more beneficial than cats, as they are commonly used by cops in solving crimes dogs can also be friends with their trainer/partners and most of them became best friends and when the time that they both need to break apart it becomes hard for both of them because they already have a special bond, like arresting criminals, both saving someone's life and other more, that both cops and dogs use to do for their  jobs and for people that needs their help.

Dogs provide an active lifestyle for an owner.Due to their high level of energy, dogs enable their owners to lead active lifestyles, and this helps dogs and their owners form a strong and unique bond.unlike cats that are known for simply staying at home and keeping themselves clean as time goes by.Since the dogs were very energetic they mostly excite their owners making them play together for a certain time. The fact that the owner can also play with cats but when you  accidentally touch their belly they will immediately go to defensive mode and they might bite or scratch you.

The presence of dogs is a life-saving.If the dogs owner is in danger, the dog will immediately call for help and/or save them. For example,if the pets owner is drowning, the dog will immediately jump into the water and save a person's life, unlike cats, who will just stare at you drowning because they don't want to get. However, dogs can also guard and protect your home and your family, they will always make their owners feel joyful and safe by their presence. Sometimes if their owner is ill or feeling sad dogs will come near them and comfort them.Even though dogs cannot speak, they will always make their owner feel loved.

Dogs can genuinely save lives and even relieve their owner's stress.Dogs are man's best friend. Some people prefer adopting dogs over cats, thus when people say that dogs are better than cats,it doesn't mean that cats aren't nice,it only means that we find dogs to be more adorable and lovely.
